Ginta (Digimon OC)

Ginta is one of the five “Accidental” Digi-Destined to enter the Digital World.

Ginta is a somewhat serious boy. He is very determined and will keep at something until he completes it. He dislikes those who can’t stand up for themselves, but won’t ignore them if they need help. He has trouble getting along with some people due to his assertive views.

Upon entering the Digital World, Ginta tries to take on the role of leader for the group. With his diligence, he feels he is best suited to make the decisions, and often prefers paths that have them fighting their way out. This puts him at odds with Yukio, whose more pacifistic view is usually the one to be followed. Ginta also finds fault in Ide’s views, believing that they need to search for their path instead of letting it find them. His assertive attitude sometimes pits him against Saya, as the girl often believes his ideas are too rash. Although initially disappointed at the weak appearance of his partner Gotsumon, Ginta gets along quite well with it, as it can have a feisty demeanor during battle. Ginta is the bearer of the Crest of Diligence.

Ginta has spiky blue hair. He wears an orange shirt with yellow stripes and blue shorts. He wears his Digivice clipped to his waist.


Gotsumon becomes Ginta’s partner after evolving through the power of Ginta’s Digivice. This happened in order to fight DarkLizardmon.

Gotsumon is an Ore Digimon that resembles a small humanoid bear made entirely of grey rocks. It has yellow eyes.

Gotsumon has very high defensive capabilities thanks to the ore data that comprises its body. Depending on its environment, this ore can change. This allows Gotsumon to blend in with rocks to hide. Its main attack shoots hardened rocks from its body.

Gotsumon has a generally cheerful personality. It loves to pull pranks and get into mischief. If those around it try to stop its fun, it will usually act out more, in order to ensure it gets what it wanted. When angered, however, Gotsumon can gain the raging temper of an erupting volcano. It can be quite the ferocious fighter, considering its docile appearance. This temperament has earned more of Ginta’s respect, and the two make a good fighting team. Gotsumon’s many attempts at fun are seen by Ginta as a type of determination in their own way, and he usually encourages it, much to Gotsumon’s joy. It has taken on many of Ginta’s ideals, and follows his path without question.

·    Hardest Punch: Punches at the foe with a glowing rock fist.
·    Earth Shaker: Slams down onto the ground to cause pillars of rock to erupt.
